Nous travaillons à créer un monde où les entreprises sont le moteur du changement dont nous avons besoin et font passer la planète et les gens avant tout. En redonnant à nos communautés, en créant des produits éthiques et écoresponsables et en compensant nos émissions, nous espérons donner l’exemple d’une entreprise qui met la planète au premier plan.  

Nous avons élaboré notre plan d’action sur le climat à trois volets en partenariat avec l’organisme Climate Neutral.

We measured Scope 1, 2 and 3 cradle-to-customer emissions following categories and approaches established in the Climate Neutral standards.

GHG Scope 1 = 14 tCO2e

Emissions from energy used in buildings, fleets, and equipment.

GHG Scope 2 = 0 tCO2e

Indirect emissions from electricity.

GHG Scope 3 = 14,297 tCO2e

Emissions from raw materials, manufacturing, shipping, air travel, and other activities in the supply chain.

Total Emissions: 14,311 tCO2e

The sum of scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions.

We invested in projects outside of their value chain to compensate for all of their measured carbon emissions. This step supports our climate neutrality designation, and enables us to take responsibility for historical emissions that can't be reduced.

Emissions Offset Total: 14,311 tCO2e

For reference, reducing a footprint by 1,000 tonnes is roughly equal to removing 230 passenger vehicles from the road for a year.

Cookstoves

We supported the manufacturing and distribution of the JikoKoa Stove in Kenya. This stove is significantly more efficient and provides locals with a better ability to cook meals with low carbon emissions.

Total Emissions = 14,311 tCO2e

We supported the installation of a 90 MW solar power project in Karnataka state of India. The project will replace greenhouse gases emissions connected to the Indian grid, which is mainly dominated by thermal/fossil fuel based power plants.

We have set targets and identified actions to reduce our emissions from operations and our supply chain. These actions will enable us to emit fewer emissions in the future.

01 Reduce Emissions From Fossil Fuels at the Factory Level

We will work in collaboration with the Apparel Impact Institute, Carbon Leadership Program and our factories to create a roadmap for decarbonization.

We will increase renewable energy use by 25%.
